This project, driven by the divestiture of a specialty chemicals manufacturing plant and its acquisition by a private equity firm, required a rapid and efficient transition. Despite significant challenges, including a lack of a Transition Service Agreement and limited access to the seller’s systems, our team achieved Phase 1 go-live in just 100 days. Project Background & Objectives:
- Divestiture of a specialty chemicals manufacturing plant by a large chemical company.
- Divesting company running their entire business on SAP ECC 6.0 and other applications.

- The private equity company had to build all the applications necessary to run the business operations of the acquired plant.

- No Transition Service Agreement (TSA) between the buyer and seller, resulting in a drop-dead date to migrate the business processes from the buyer to the seller.
- Very limited staff with the business and systems knowledge transitioning to the new company.
- Very limited access to the selling company’s SAP and other systems.
